Classification of waste types

Construction and Demolition raw waste material disposed of at our Concrush Teralba facility fall within the following 8 categories:

  1. Concrete
  2. Bricks and pavers
  3. Rock
  4. Roof Tiles
  5. Ceramic Tiles
  6. Asphalt (RAP)
  7. Roadbase, aggregates and gravel (RAG)
  8. Green Waste and Stumps (Organics)


Concrete

Concrete including internal tiles, structural concrete (reinforcing steel) pipes and roof tiles.

Concrete loads shall not contain any of the following:

  • Asbestos or fibrous cement material
  • Soil or clay
  • Organic or vegetation matter
  • Wood or timber products
  • Plastic, PVC or vinyl products
  • Gyprock or plasterboard products

Bricks

Bricks including internal tiles, pavers, rock and terracotta roof tiles.

Brick loads shall not contain any of the following:

  • Asbestos or fibrous cement material
  • Soil or clay
  • Organic or vegetation matter
  • Wood or timber products
  • Plastic, PVC or vinyl products
  • Gyprock or plasterboard products

Mixed Loads

Mixed loads inlcude concrete, bricks, pavers, roof tiles, ceramic tiles, aggregates and gravel.

Mixed loads shall not contain any of the following:

  • Asbestos or fibrous cement material
  • Soil or clay
  • Organic or vegetation matter
  • Wood or timber products
  • Plastic, PVC or vinyl products
  • Gyprock or plasterboard products

Asphalt

Asphalt loads include profiling and excavated reclaimed asphalt pavement.

Asphalt loads shall not contain any of the following:

  • Asbestos or fibrous cement material
  • Coal Tar
  • Soil or clay
  • Organic or vegetation matter
  • Wood or timber products
  • Plastic, PVC or vinyl products
  • Gyprock or plasterboard products

Roadbase

Roadbase loads include basecourse, subbase, aggregates and gravel.

Roadbase loads shall not contain any of the following:

  • Asbestos or fibrous cement material
  • Coal Tar
  • Soil or clay
  • Organic or vegetation matter
  • Wood or timber products
  • Plastic, PVC or vinyl products
  • Gyprock or plasterboard products

Green Waste and Stumps (Organics)

Green waste loads include trees, stumps, logs, branches, bush trimmings and grass clippings.

Green waste loads shall not contain any of the following:

  • Noxious weeds or grape vines
  • Steel or metals
  • Soil or clay (clean stumps)
  • Construction and demolition waste
  • Plastic, PVC or vinyl products
  • Gyprock or plasterboard products

Note:  Concrush reseve the right to refuse loads for disposal at their discretion.

Prohibited items - domestic putrescible, fibrous cement, asbestos, coal tar, medical, radioactive, explosive, flammable, chemical, animal or rubber waste (tyres), sludge or liquids and lead painted timber.

Note:  Customers found to be tipping asbestos or prohibited items on our site will be charged clean up and disposal fees.
