Recycled Soil

Background

A significant quantity of soils currently ends up at Council landfill sites. Selective soils are valuable and thus lend themselves to recycling.

Material Description

Our recycled soil is a screened soil of maximum particle size of 20mm. The recycled soil is dark in colour with a density of 1.7 ton/m3. Our recycled soil has been tested as VENM (Virgin Excavated Natural Material) as defined by the NSWEPA.

Benefits

Our recycled soil is a good compacted material.

Uses

Our Recycled Soil has many uses including:

  • Levelling uneven areas
  • Back fill behind kerbing
  • Fill to garden bed areas

(Our recycled soil is not a structural fill material and should not be used under buildings, pavements or structures unless specially supervised by a Geotechnical Engineer).
